Pizza: Lettuce, chicken shawarma and grilled veggies

Pizza in a modern fusion version. We use the vegan pizza crust from Magioni. They have 3 flavors: zucchini, paprika and cauliflower. Each pizza crust contains 35 percent more vegetables. Read on for recipe.

Pizza: Lettuce, chicken shawarma and grilled veggies

Ingrediënts:

2 zucchini pizza bases (I use Magioni pizza bases zucchini. There are two pizza bases in a package).

1 zucchini

1 red sweet pointed pepper

300 grams of chicken shawarma meat ready-to-use ( you can choose marinated chicken shawarma meat for baking or marinate chicken thigh fillet yourself with shawarma herbs).

6 leaves of lettuce Lettuce mix or iceberg lettuce (fresher and crunchy in taste)

4 pieces of radishes

1 stem of spring onions

garlic mayonnaise (aioli)

5 tablespoons of olive oil

salt to taste (I use Himalayan salt, but of course you can also use regular salt).

chayenne pepper to taste

1 red onion

Instructions:

1.Wash the lettuce or iceberg lettuce and pat dry with kitchen paper. Cut the spring onions into thin rings and the radishes into thin slices. Also cut the red onion into thick rings. Wash the zucchini and cut them vertically into thin slices. You can use a mandolin vegetable cutter or just a peeler. Then you wash the red pointed pepper and remove the seeds. Cut the red pointed pepper vertically into 4 pieces.

2.In a large bowl, add 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt and chayenne pepper to taste and then mix well. Then you put the sliced ​​zucchini and pointed pepper and mix them well so that they are covered on both sides with olive oil mix.

3.Spread pizza bases with garlic mayonnaise (aioli) and put them in the oven for 5 minutes.

4.In the meantime, put the wok on the fire and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the red onion together with chicken shawarma until they are cooked on the inside but do not dry dry.

5.Put a grill pan on the fire and grill the zucchini and red pointed pepper alternately for 1 minute. Place the grilled vegetables on a plate lined with kitchen paper.

6.After 5 minutes you take the pizza bases out of the oven and then you are the first to top them with iceberg lettuce, on top of the fried chicken shawarma meat and the rest of the ingredients. You put the garlic mayonnaise over the topped pizza. Enjoy your meal!
